Mother's Pet is a home run day care for children of all ages. We are based in Aurora, Ontario
Our vision is to create a joyful and nurturing environment which is conducive to the intellectual, social, physical and artistic development of the children to take place.
Our staff has over 8 years of ECE experience. They are certified in CPR/First Aid and Food Handling. We have ample spaces dedicated to cognitive activities/sensory play/dramatic play/educational materials. We have personalized programs based on age.
In addition to full-time care, we also offer flexible hours and drop-in care.

SUMMER HALF DAY ARTS WORKSHOPS
Wednesdays- July 6th ,13th ,20th ,27th, Aug 3rd. 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Students will enjoy drawing, painting, drama/movement with instruments in a nurturing environment led by an experienced artist**.
Activities will be suited to the interests and level of each student.
There will also be a brief introduction to art history of painting and principles of basic design will be covered.
Cost: $30 per session.csh/chq made out to artist.
Snacks:Provided
Reservation: Required. As space is limited and to prepare for sessions early registration is recommended
Ages: 4-10 yrs
**Lydia Calvo has her Bachelor of Fine Arts from York University with majors in painting and drawing and has taken numerous movement/dance classes from childhood baton twirling through to sports, formal ballet, jazz and social dance. She has led similar type camps in past recreational programs.
She is currently tutoring children in movement and visual arts as a form of expression and as a tool for enhancing children’s literacy,numeracy skills and creativity.
